me- the new julie

The thing is I wanted to be different. Every once and awhile I get a itch to be completely different. So I change the one thing that every girl fines easy to change, my hair.

I went in for a hair appointment on Wednesday. It was for the cut only, however I told my awesome stylist Rachel(at anew you in Coldwater) that I wanted to dye my hair red. So we gathered some ideas and the rest is history. I couldn't wait to get it done so I went back in on Thursday.

Do I love it? You can see for yourself, however, you won't change my mind. I DO LOVE it. I think it's fabulous. Adam says he got a new wife. Men are crazy!

This is the before. The disclaimer is that in this picture vs. the others I didnt have any eye makeup on. The sad thing is that I thought that this was a great picture BEFORE I took the afters.

These are the afters. See, I love my new so much that I couldn't even decide on what photo to post. I had to post three. :)
Lastly, Thanks for listening to the ramble! Julie

beth- ft. recovery highschool

Beth came to me for some in studio photos last Thursday. I have just got to say that Beth has one great face. I love the green eyes that go great with the skin tone and hair. She has some striking natural beauty going on here. Too cute!

Thanks! Hope you enjoy.

shelby- ft. recovery high school

I am so excited to share these. Shelby is my best friends little sister and I just couldn't wait to photograph her. It was a great way to spend the evening. I love her little doggie Sam too. I hope you guys enjoy the photographs.

I love Sam and he was so good for us.
Shelby is serious here but not too serious. I think she looks great here.
A candid with the puppy. It makes me laugh.
Another serious but I think that it works.
Shelby climbed to new heights for her senior photos. Thanks for being a good sport.

There are many, many more good photographs to come. I can't wait for you to get the proofs.

Thanks Shelby, Trisha and Pam!

nick- coldwater high school

Nick's session was really fun. I had a blast photographing the drum set. It was also a good time trying to photograph the golf stuff. Thanks for having a good sense of humor.  It was great getting to know you.

I really like the B&W here.
Nick has a little bit of 'fall' in his photos.

I had to throw in a serious in the golf hat.

brad- coldwater high school

This morning I met with Brad and his mom for some senior photos by their house, pond, and farm. I had a great time. There were many photo opportunities. He has some unique senior pictures coming his way. Thanks guys.

Very cool photo in front of an old house.
Rustic barns are great! I have driven by this barn many times wanting to photograph in front of it.

nathan- ft recovery high school

The morning I woke up to take Nathan's photos, I didn't know what to expect. It was dark and looking like rain. However, we met up anyways and everything went perfect. It was a good time.

Nathan took some really neat photos. I really think that the jr. firefighter ones are great.
Love the colors.
This blue really brings out Nathan's eyes. Plus he has a great smile here.
And, we had to have the car! I thought this was a fresh take on the car photographs.
Thanks Nathan!

keith- coldwater high school

This is Keith. We needed to get his photos in before two-a-days start for football. He's the first senior this year that I did on the railroad tracks. It was neat to break out the poses on the the tracks.

Thanks Keith for getting up early to meet with me.

nick- coldwater high school

This is my cousin Nick. I always like to photograph my cousins. Its a great way to get to know them and its neat to see their personalities. I just notice that in all of these photos, Nick is wearing his favorite shirt. I guess its my favorite too.

Rudy- 2 old year

It's another 2 year old. This little fella was all guy. He wanted to do everything himself, pick up everything himself, and  run wild.  I think we got some cute photos though. These were snap amongst all the chaos.

The sweet side of Rudy. I think that he was tiring out here.
