peyton- just beginings

As most of you know, Adam and I welcomed Peyton Ann into this world on Nov 9th and our lives changed forever. We think not of ourselves but of Peyton, pee, and poop! Feedings every two hours and wonderings if we are doing everything right. However, on top of it all, God blessed us with healthy baby girl who coos and smiles from a milk induce coma. That makes it all worth it! Everyday flies and here I am just posting photos from almost two weeks ago. Enjoy!

I have a girl with hair! This is a Link thing considering my lack of hair until age 2.

This is one good looking daddy! I love how he took to holding her right away even though he holds her like a football most of the time. I also love to hear Adam tell Peyton how cute she is!

I wanted to included this photo because well this was Adam right after delivery... and I just wanted to thank Adam for all the amazing support during delivery and during those first few days at home. He great at listening to me ramble about worries and logical enough to tell me that I am crazy when I might very well be!

Also, as a side note and more of a funny note, I love how Adam's holding the remote in his hand. This photo tells me of my hospital stay and ALL the hunting and football that watched! :P

diaper bag- thanks laura!

So, if you follow my facebook page, you would have already heard that my friend, Laura Schwieterman, volunteered to make me a diaper bag. I was thrilled but slightly over whelmed when we were standing in JoAnns looking at all the fabric choices. There's just so much to choose from and trying to make it gender neutral about made me give up right there! After much debate and thinking of exactly what I wanted in a diaper bag, this is what we came up with and its AMAZING!

Now, without a pattern and more googling, Laura made me this diaper bag masterpiece. I can't wait to use it! Thanks Laura!

I often read other's blogs and one of favorites is by Kelle Hampton. (http://www.kellehampton.com/) It is just one the many that Rachel Post got my hooked on and I am so glad she did. Check it out if you have time but BEWARE it's addicting!

Kelle has an amazing story and writes beautifully. What she said today really struck me as a mommy to-be. I wanted to be a child forever (It's true Adam even says so!) and now I can't wait to see if the second part of the quote will be true too!

baby blake's baptism

I had the pleasure of photographing my nephew baptism's this past Sunday and if you haven't been to one in some time, it's really an amazing thing. Well, maybe its the fact that soon I will be planning my little one's baptism, but I thought Father Barry did a wonderful job explaining the importance of baptism and how it really is the most important gift you can give your child!
