riley- 1 yr. old

Riley was a great little guy. Happy by nature, he was just a smiling away the whole session. We had so many ideas and was able to try them all out. We did everything for tummys and ties to dad's hat and formals. I know he was ready for a nap by the end of the session!

Thanks!

nathan- coldwater high school

Nathan was my first senior of the year and I had a great time photographing him. He was really patient with me outside in the snow.

I love taking portraits in the winter. I just need to find willing subjects. It's great too for seniors because they get a different look than most of their classmates.

I also tried some new retouching techniques on his photos. Nathan's session really got me excited for the upcoming senior season!

buddy

I am have decided that I needed fun and interesting new year resolutions. There will be no weight-loss promises but something I am going to succeed in! So, I committed myself to picking up my camera at least once a week and shooting something for fun. It cant be a session but something that I am truly interested in.

As you can see, I choose buddy for my first assignment. He's just an easy subject. The results were kinda cool. The second photograph is my favorite. I think that it speaks volumes about his personality. I wanted something different. Different angles. Different looks.

laurie + justin- to be

Laurie and Justin braved the chilly weather for their engagement session, however we had fun. We had lots of laughs and I captured some great images in the meantime! Thanks guys and I cant wait for your wedding in the spring.

sarah + kyle- to be

Sarah and Kyle were up for anything and all smiles. We started out trying to capture some of the leaves out at west bank and then moved into town for an urban look. Thanks for the easy Saturday and I hope you enjoyed your Thanksgiving.

brent link- ft. recovery high school

Brent is Adam's cousin. I always thought that Brent has had this great personality. He is very laid-back. Even though the session was one of my shortest, I really enjoyed it.

Thanks!

lindsay + mike

Lindsay and Mike had a beautiful day for and engagement pictures and we made the most of it. First, we did their *blue*  outfit in-studio and down town. Then we did the *orange* outfit by the leaves and trees and railroad tracks.  Enjoy!

buddy- one funny pup

I came across this one when looking to see what I got from Buddy's Christmas session. I thought it was too funny. Plus he just looks like he knew he shouldn't be chewing on the ribbon.

lars & lucy- it's a puppy thing

Happy Holidays! Yep. It's that time of year again.

Lars and Lucy are my good friend Amy's puppies. After a LOT of craziness we created this masterpiece.

Thanks for the fun afternoon! We'll have to do it again sometime soon and maybe in the future.... with kiddos instead! :)

julie + joe & family

Well, it's not easy working with a 2 and 1 year old but we did it. It was actually pretty easy. The little ones put up with a lot of direction and craziness. All-in-all, there were no red screaming faces and thats a major plus!

Thanks for the great session, Julie

The cute and cozy family.

I *heart* little guys in argyle sweaters! It just doesn't get any more cute.

A cute, maybe slightly cheesy, but still  cute smile.

The tots together.....

dan + emma

It was so very hard to pick my favorites from their session. Dan and Emma were just too good of kids. They were well behaved and listened well too. I know that Dan was getting antsy at the end but he held in there and the result; beautiful photos. These photos are something to cherish years and years from now.

A classic photo. I think the color shows off their wonderful eyes!

I know that this was definitely Dan's favorite part of the session. After throwing leaves nothing else was just quite as fun.

Emma rocked this photo! I just love it.

My little man Dan. He looks like he's up to something here. :)

Molly and family,
Soon the proofs will be in and there are so many more great photos. I can't wait for you.

Thanks Julie..

ryan- ft. recovery high school

Ryan is very much a go-with-the-flow kinda guy and I  like that. He was up for anything and getting good at turning the smiles on and off. I had a great time photographing Ryan. I hope that you enjoy your photos!

Talk to you soon!
