Kevin and Beth were easy to photograph. It's kinda like working with family because Kevin was a second brother to me growing up. It is weird to think that he's all grown up and getting married. Even though he  is only two years younger than me, it just seems like he's too young to get married. Anyways, I really enjoyed their session and definitely give them kudos for putting up with the cold and chilly temperature. Thanks! 

janelle + nathan

I had the pleasure of taking Janelle and Nathan's engagement photos. It was a great fall day with sunshine. Sunshine is something we could use a little more of this fall.  I can't wait to take their wedding next summer. I am sure it will be a blast!

adam- st. henry high school

Adam wanted fall photos and that's what he received. I really enjoyed Adam's session. Both his mom and dad were present and really showed their support. It was great getting to know his family even though I already worked with Adam many times.  Adam does videos for weddings so I see him at many of the local weddings.

The shot by the grape vines is amazing. I love how it is back lit by the sun. 
The colors and pose really make everything flow here!

It was a beautiful fall day.  Everything was perfect and we had a blast photographing their wedding. Matt and Amanda were the perfect bride and groom. I am so happy for them and wish them the best. Thanks guys!

kylee- 18mths

Kylee was an angel.  She sat and smiled, and for any 18mth old that is hard enough! I really had a great time photographing her. We let her do her own thing, and all-in-all, we really captured some great smiles and true personality. 

I always think that a good portrait is a must in every session. 

I think that these hats are amazing and Kylee just made them more cute. Look at that sweet smile.

So, on Wednesday the sun did come out and I had a great time taking my sister-in-law's senior photos. We checked out new places and I had a awesome time bonding with my new little sister. 

Emily is super pretty and this photo just prove that I am not bias. 

 I love the fact that it shows off her cute shoes.... and her french horn. hehe

brrrrrr....... Angie and Corey were real troopers. They met me for their engagement when it was a chilly 50 some degrees. However, while my nose ran, we got some great shots. I am super in love with this first image. It shows their pretty eyes. 

You guys have a great sense of humor and know how to make a cool situation a good time.

I had the pleasure of meeting Cody and his mom, Julie. It turned out to be a fun senior session. I caught some great smiles from Cody and some cool shots of his 'toys.'

Hello to all.

Chelsea was a great senior. She had all her photos done outdoors. Plus,  she had it all planned,an outfit for each of the six different locations. I would have to say that she did a fabulous job as director of photography. 

Anyways, I had a very, VERY hard time picking the ones to post. I wanted to do a mix of serious and smiling and really capture each location. Hope you guys approve!

buddy- puppy

We just brought home Buddy yesterday. He is a goldendoodle and will be the size of a golden retriever when he's grown. He's been a bundle of fun. He loves to test how fast I can get him outside before he pees on my floor, play ball, and chew off  his collar. I hope to get him walking on a leash in the next week or so. I also hope he learns the potty training thing too.  He's one big baby and we love to love him!

I needed to do a test run on my lights before my session last night so I made Buddy my subject. I really think that he was going to die. He lasted about 30 seconds on the stool. lol. 

Poor baby, I think that he just wanted to stay by me side.

baby g coming in march

This is the newest addition to the Wenning/Gerlach clan. My sister Laura is pregnant and expecting in March. We are all very excited(My parents are over-joyed!) to meet the first Wenning grandchild. I am sure that we will spoil him rotten with all our attention and love. 

Here's to you baby G. May you grow big, really big and healthy. :)

Yippy! We know what the Gerlachs are getting this Christmas! -baby toys, baby blankets, baby shampoo, baby clothes, baby books, baby beds, baby decor, baby socks, baby food, baby bottles, baby seats, baby ..... good thing you already have your flat screen!

jessica- st. henry highschool

I feel sorta bad because I am never this late on a preview. I actually took Jessica's photos last Monday. However, I think that they turned out beautiful. Jessica and her mom Jean took me to a never before photographed location and we had a wonderful time. Jessica got her grove on and I captured that in some amazing portraits.
